I am the Truth...
I'm going to do a seriously un-British thing here and say - out loud, in public - that I'm dead chuffed to read Paul Fromont's very nice review of my chapter in "Anglicanism...". I'm also challenged by it, because as with all well-written reviews, the particular ideas that are highlighted and developed turn it into a conversation. (A review isn't trying to sell the book, so it isn't obliged to offer unmitigated praise.) Paul did like my piece, which is why I'm chuffed, but he also adds some interesting thoughts of his own, which are very helpful as I start thinking about my next piece of work - a contribution to something called "Straight Talking". Thanks Paul.
